Promoting the upcoming release of ‘La Belle Epoque, vol.1’, Danny van Tiggele, Tom Broshuis and I played an acoustic version of 'Before the chills’ - the song Danny and I wrote for this album. The session was hosted by Gibson HQ in Amersfoort, Holland. Out September 10th on V2 records.
This week I joined @cleanpetemusic on stage at Caprera, Bloemendaal. We played a short set as a prologue to the wonderful documentary about the ‘Summer of Soul’, a festival in Harlem, 1969.

This ‘Frima’ (Dutch brand) was my first ever eletric guitar. In the right pic I’m 15 years olfd and playing it at a high school event. A few months ago, some 40+ years later, I found another Frima - an almost exact copy - and I used it with my new band in Tivoli Vredenburg.. Crazy!
